NELTAS ECAT

ECAT (English Competency Analytical Test) is an English language assessment blended with National Level competition taken by thousands of students every year. Vice Principal’s Day

We celebrated the birthday of Fr Malcolm Nato S.J. as the Vice Principals Day on 6th July 2018. It began with a holy eucharist con-celebrated by Fr Frazer Mascarenhas S.J. our manager and Fr Malcolm Nato S.J. our Vice Principal. A prayer service for boys of other faith was conducted in the school hall. It was followed by cutting of the cake in the staff room during the short break. Doctor’s Day Celebration 2018

On 02nd July 2018, St Stanislaus High School celebrated Doctor’s Day in the Arupe Hall. This day was celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. To understand the significance of this day in a better manner, Dr. Bosco, Dr. Janaki, Dr. Namrata and Br. Conrad were invited as special guests. The Junior Red Cross boys of STD 7th, 8th and 9th, doctor’s day committee members and PTA members were also a part of this celebration.

Seminar on Cyber Security

On 29th June 2018, a seminar was conducted by Cyber School Alerts on Cyber Security. In this program the resource person, Ms. Sonali described various cyber crimes which have been caused by the wrong use of internet by students. Some of the cyber crimes like hacking, gambling, stalking, morphing, cyber bullying and many other crimes were described with real life cases. NCC Annual Training Camp

Every year, the NCC boys go for their ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP (ATC). So, did we, this year. Our camp was organized at Goregaon, deep in the forests. We departured from our school at about 7:15 am by bus. Started our journey with prayers, reached our destination safely by 9:00 am. We were then allotted our room numbers. we were 7 in a room. We were then taken for breakfast after which we were shown our timetable. Our schedule was very tough. Our under 16 Hockey team wins the Mumbai Hockey Association Olympic Day Tournament beating Don Bosco 2 – 1 in the finals.

Prayer Service

Prayer service for students of other faiths was held in the school hall on 22nd June 2018. The theme of the prayer service was Humanity is my religion. We began the program with the lighting of lamp.

The vice – principal Fr Malcolm and staff members made the prayer service meaningful and inspiring. Prayers of different religions were followed by bhajans sung by our Stanislites. Mallakhamb Day celebration

We celebrated the Mallakhamb Day at school on 15th June 2018. As a part of the celebration we did our regular warm up exercises and later each one of us had to complete Dasarang (one of the elements in Mallakhamb) to the maximum number possible. Last year as a team we had done a total of 312 Dasarangs, however this year we more than doubled the number and completed a little more than 700. The highest individual number of Dasarangs in our school was done by Jadyn D’Souza (170), Caspar Mathew (150) and myself (103).
