Teachers Environmental Leadership Workshop 2023

Kids for Tigers held a workshop on environmental leadership for teachers on August 18, 2023 at the CEC in Film City, Goregaon. Dr. Parvish Pandya spoke about the importance of a healthy ecosystem, climate change, and teachers' role in raising awareness. A year-long program was announced, including nature trails, quiz competitions, signature campaigns, audio-visual presentations, wildlife safaris, and a tiger festival. St Stanislaus High School's Scouts celebrated World Population Day on July 11, 2023. They participated in poster making, essay writing, and an assembly to raise awareness about population explosion. The scouts were enthusiastic about the event and learned a lot about the issue of population growth. They were also able to share their knowledge with others through their posters and essays. The theme for World Environment Day on 5 June 2023 was "Beat Plastic Pollution." The world is being inundated by plastic, and the Scouts of St Stanislaus High School took part in the day's activities to raise awareness of the issue. They observed the three R's of waste management: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
