68th Independence Day celebration at St Stanislaus

The 68th Independence Day celebration at St Stanislaus School began at 7:30 am with the flag hoisting and singing of our National Anthem. The National flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest Captain Yezed Gheewala a father of our ex-student, a violinist and a well wisher of our school.

After the flag hoisting, the Chief Guest along with other dignitaries and the students proceeded to the school hall for a short cultural programme which consisted of a patriotic speech, song, poem and a dance. This programme highlighted the untold sacrifices of the freedom fighters and encouraged all to do the right things for a better India.

Certificates were awarded to the boys who excelled in NCC, Scouts and RSP. The Std. 10 Toppers who scored above 90% in the SSC Board Exam were also felicitated. Their proud parents were also called on stage.  

The programme concluded with the singing of the School anthem.
