Stanislites celebrate Moon Landing Day

The science club and social studies club boys of St Stanislaus High School enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Moon Landing Day at the Nehru Science Centre on 19th July 2019.

The visit began with a large format science odyssey film titled Aircraft Carriers: Guardians of the Sea. Watching the film on a huge dome screen projector felt like we were on those large carriers sailing the seas. This was followed by an amazing, up close and personal look at the moon. Visit to the Maharashtra Legislature

On Monday, 1st July, the boys of standard 7th, 8th & 10th went for an educational visit to the Maharashtra Legislature (Vidhan Bhavan).  The Maharashtra Legislature comprises of the Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) and Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad).   The Speaker, Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers at the Legislative Assembly debated on  issues arising due to water scarcity and water clogging in low-lying areas of Mumbai.

Vice Principal’s Day Celebration

10th June is the birthday of Sr.Arockia but it was celebrated on the first day of school with great enthusiasm by the staff.

Prayer Service and Celebrating Yoga Day

On 21st June 2019, the boys belonging to other faith had a prayer service in the school hall.

Since it was the first prayer service of the new academic year it started with lighting of the lamp followed by prayer of different faith.

It was later followed by a bhajan and a short video was shown to the boys which had a theme of unity in religion.

Since it was International Yoga Day the prayer service was ended with the boys in the hall doing Yoga under the guidance of Yoga teacher and the boys benefitted a lot in the session.Learn More

National Integration Tour to Sikkim

This year May 2019 the summer vacations were really thrilling and exciting for some of our students and teachers who went on a national integration tour to the north eastern Army base. Mr. Peter D'Souza a very enthusiastic ex Stanislite under the banner of the B.I.R.D committee had organised this tour. Seven schools from all over Mumbai and about hundred students were part of this project .It was a 12 day tour out of which eight days was spent with the Indian army. Students Stayed in Sevok and Bagrakot army cantonments which are a part of the North Eastern army base.

International Yoga Day

World Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, 2019 at Bandstand Reclamation. Education Minister Shri Ashish Shellar, Education Inspector Anil Salve along with many VIP dignitaries were present.

NCC Cadets celebrated Yoga day at Swami Vivekananda School and various schools participated in the event.

‘EUMIND’ - Cultural Exchange to Netherlands

An educational and ecological initiative between Europe and India ‘EUMIND’ - Cultural Exchange to Netherlands 15 students and 2 teachers went for an educational and cultural exchange program. This exchange was held from 9th April to 17th April 2019. The students got an opportunity to have a cultural exchange with them which helped them to enhance their personality and increase their knowledge. They took part in excursions, learning activities and sports event organised by the J.P. Thijsse College Netherlands.
