Independence Day - Stanislaus celebrates ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’

St. Stanislaus High School celebrated the 76th Independence Day with immense patriotism. It was the day that marked the completion of 75 years of freedom. A great milestone and remarkable moment for us as Indians. Indeed, a day celebrated with pride and honour here at Stanislaus.

Tr. Neeta’s Farewell

We bid an emotional farewell to Tr. Neeta on the 5th of August, 2022. The programme was conducted on an online platform. Tr. Rubina, Tr Pramila and Tr. Margaret went to her home along with a PTA representative Mrs. Lavina Fernandes. Tr. Neeta was thanked for her 29 years of service during which she was a dedicated teacher, a loyal employee and a supportive friend. The blessings of God were invoked through a prayer service. Loyola Feast Celebration

The feast of St Ignatius of Loyola the founder of the Society of Jesus is celebrated on 31st July every year. And our school looks forward to celebrating this feast with great enthusiasm. This year the celebration began a week ago by conducting a Poster making competition for std 5 & 6 (St Ignatius of Loyola), std 7 & 8 (Ideals in Action), std 9 & 10 (Man for others).

Primary Inter – Class Football Tournament

The game of football can be compared to life. It requires dedication, skill, teamwork, respect for rules, concentration, fair play, strategizing, etc. It also keeps us fit and alert.

To help create a love for this wonderful game and to make the qualities that this game has to offer a part of their lives the Inter-Class Football Tournament for Standards III and IV was organized in the month of July 2022. The teams participated enthusiastically.

NCC Rifle Shooting Camp

An important announcement about rifle shooting caught the attention of all the students. Many wanted to grab the golden opportunity. On 21st June 2022, wearing the khaki uniform, barrot, belt and DMS shoes brought an elated feeling of pride, the feeling of being a soldier. Sir Nithyanand then led us to the camp, which was held at Colaba. We were first trained on how to handle the rifle and how to shoot. We were each given a .22 rifle. India’s 76th Independence Day was celebrated by the staff and students of St.Stanislaus High School- Primary section on the of 15th of August 2022.The programme was presented by the students of standard 3 .

This day teaches us about the power of unity among us Indians. We celebrate this day with pride as we cherish the memories of our great leaders who sacrificed their lives for our country and its people.

It is rightly said that, "STANISLITES are Born For Greater Things", as they participated and won Trophies for the School at the Inter - School Competition- Immaculata, organised by St Mary's, ICSE, Mazgoan. Students from standards 8th to 10th participated in many events at this Competition.
