The students of Std VIII had a First Aid awareness cum training program on 12th November 2008 in the School AV room. The aim of the program was to equip the boys with knowledge and techniques while dealing with an emergency before professional help arrived. Besides the boys the school Sports Director and a few workers also attended the session.
The program was conducted by Alumni Dr Bhalchandra Jayakar (Class of 1987) and his wife Dr Priti Jayakar. The session consisted of a slide show along with live demonstration of first aid techniques. Dr. Jayakar managed to dispel many myths while educating the boys in First Aid techniques.
The session was well received by the boys. A follow up session has been planned on Saturday 15th November 2008 at 12 noon. Many
