Marathi Bhasha Divas Celebrations at St. Stanislaus High School

Marathi Bhasha Divas was celebrated in honour of the Marathi language and in keeping with the birth anniversary of Dyanpeeth award winner poet late V.V. Shirwadkar alias Kusumagraj.

Marathi being the official language of the State of Maharashtra, the main focus of this celebration is to promote the Marathi culture among the Stanislites.

The Chief Guest at our event was Mr.Madhusudan Naik a well known Marathi artiste in the field of Marathi plays and TV serials.

Students of the Secondary Section participated in the various categories of poem and choral recitation in Marathi. Std. IX students had prepared a speech on ‘Friendship of Man and Nature’

The top rankers of the various competitions held during the Marathi week, were presented with certificates.
