Visit to Bai Ratanbai Gharda Memorial Library

Stanislaus Staff at the library

On Wednesday, 7th September 2011, a group of teachers and the Principal all avid readers walked down Hill Road, Bandra to visit the library-cum-reading room of the Bai Ratanbai Gharda Memorial Library.

The centrally air-conditioned library has over 8,000 books covering various subjects including literature, management, medicine, engineering, law, art, history, science and biographies and books for travel enthusiasts.

The facilities at the library include a mini auditorium. The membership charges are minimal and the reading room facility is offered with nominal registration charges. The reading room operates from 9a.m to 10pm every day and the library between 9a.m to 7p.m. The library is upgraded with a web-based library software system, which makes it user-friendly.

This boon of a nearby, well equipped library will surely enhance the reading habit in the Staff and students making its objective (Make books your companion) come true.
