Inter-Religious Festival 2015

The Inter-religious Prayer Service was celebrated on the 14th August 2014, on the eve of Independence day.

Since  2015 is  the year of Light, the theme for that morning was” Light” – one of the oldest and most meaningful symbols found in cultures and religions worldwide – a sign of purity.

The different religions were Christianity, Hinduism,  Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Islam, and Buddhism. The  importance of Light and Holy Water in each of these religions were all portrayed with a reading from the Holy Books, a prayer dance and skits accompanied by visuals...Learn More

Primary Appreciation Day 2015-16

The Appreciation Day, held on the 8th of August, 2015, was an occasion to acknowledge the achievement of our students who have attained excellence in academic and co-curricular spheres through their dedicated efforts and perseverance in the academic year 2014-15.

Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Patron Saint of the Jesuits

The feast of St Ignatius of Loyola,Patron Saint of the Jesuits was celebrated on the 31st July 2015, with Mass, in the Church for the Catholic Students and a Prayer Service in the School Hall for the boys of other faiths.  The main celebrant was Fr. Lancy Mendonca, an ex-Stanislite .

Fr, Andrew, our Vice Principal, reminded the boys that they were born for Eternity.

Parents Day Celebration 2015 (Primary)

The parent’s day celebration that was held on 25th July 2015, at St Stanislaus High School Bandra was a great success. The students and teachers of the Primary Section invited the parents to participate in a special programme.

This programme included Candle Decoration for the mothers and A Volley ball  game for the fathers.

The candles given were artistically decorated by the mothers. On the other hand the fathers had a stress free and an enjoyable volley ball game with fathers of   Std II and III emerging victorious.

Started with a ‘KICK’.....Interclass Football Tournament for Std III and IV. Stanislites are not only known for their excellence in academics but also for achieving their goal in sports. Thus, we began this academic year 2015 – 2016 with an ‘INTERCLASS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT’ of the 3rd and the 4th Standard.

International Yoga Day at St. Stanislaus High School

In keeping with the International Yoga Day, St. Stanislaus High School conducted a Yoga session on the 22nd June 2015, for the Primary and Secondary students, in the School Hall.

Education Festival and Book Distribution

As part of the Education Festival, students of Stds V to VIII were presented with textbooks in all subjects.

We were privileged to have Mrs. Ranjana Rao, Deputy Education Inspector of the H-Ward visit the school on its reopening and present the textbooks to our Stanislites.  Mrs. Rao was accompanied to the classrooms by our newly appointed Principal, Mrs. Anna Correa and the Vice Principal Fr. 22 Bandra Schools Celebrate Maharashtra Divas

The 54th Maharashtra Day was celebrated with students of 21 schools at St Andrew’s School grounds on Friday, 1st May. These schools belonged to the Bandra Inter-school Republic Day Committee. The presentations from these schools brought out the rich history of the State through dance, rendition of Marathi songs and enactment of various Maharashtrian festivals and the plight of the farmers.

The Navy was invited to introduce students to the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji who propelled the great Maratha force.

Stanislite Tanuj Kaza topped Maharashtra State in IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2015, the results of which were declared on Monday evening.Tanuj scored 335 out of 360. Nearly 13 lakh students had appeared for the IIT Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2015.
