Lawrie’s XI Interschool Cricket Tournament

Our School hosted the ‘LAWRIE’S XI INTERSCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT’ from Monday, 16th April to Wednesday, 18th April 2012, at Shivaji Park, Dadar. This tournament started since the year 2007. Ever since its inception, we have met with great success. This year we had 8 teams each participating in the U-14 and U-16 category.

It is with the participation of our Stanislites, the support of our Principal Fr. Jude Fernandes and the parents, that this tournament is getting richer, picking up in momentum and is creating history.

Second cultural exchange program (CEP) at St. Stanislaus High School

As part of the Jesuit Certificate Programme (JCP), the boys of Std. VIII were given an opportunity to play host and take home another student for a night’s stay.

These boys hailed from a village called Asangaon in Maharashtra and were apprehensive of coming to Mumbai. To them Mumbai and Mumbaikars were scary, violent, rich and uncaring. But their interaction with the JCP boys allayed their fears and they enjoyed the hospitality of the homes that lodged them.

29th of February 2012 was a day when the St.Stanislaus auditorium shone with the brilliance of the young and dynamic Stanis-stars. It was a warm and loving show graced by ex-principals, ex-teachers, ex-students, PTA rep. family and friends. All of us had gathered to convey our sincere appreciation for Tr. Ulka’s 27 years of meritorious service at Stanislaus.

St Stanislaus Athletic Team wins prestigious TATA & Ahmed Sailor Challenge Shields

For the second consecutive year the St Stanislaus Athletic Team brought laurels to the school by winning the prestigious TATA Challenge & Ahmed Sailor Challenge Shields , having secured the highest points(65 points) in the 'Boys School' category for all divisions during the MSSA inter school athletic meet held at the Bombay University Stadium from the 15-18 December 2011.The March Past Team too, who were well turned out competed for the very first time and eventually finished with an excellent display of their marching skills on the final day, however they lost out to the...Learn More

St. Stanislaus School celebrated its 148th Athletic Meet on Saturday, 10th December 2011 at 1:30 p.m on the School grounds.

Mr. Christopher & Mrs. Rosita Pereira, parents of the School Sports Captain Master Kyle Pereira presided along with Mrs. Nirmala D’mello as Guests of Honour.

30th November 2011 was an eventful day as Stanislaus bid a memorable adieu to dear Tr. Liz. The farewell committee had organised a special cruise liner for the day. As ‘Liz Liner’ set sail on her final voyage at Stanislaus she did so in all her splendour.

SCOUTS MAKE BANDRA GREEN

The West Mumbai Suburban District Bharat Scout & Guide Association celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti with a tree plantation at the District office Juhu, on Sunday, 2nd October2011. The programme was conducted by Mr. Leonard Gonsalves (District Chief Commissioner).
