SSHS along with 25 other school of H ward participated in a cyber awareness programme conducted by NGO, Responsible Netism. The programme spanned 3 months and included workshops for teachers, parents and students. Topics covered were online fraud, hacking of accounts, secure passwords, safe sites, online gaming, online pornography, use of social media and how to be cyber alert. The students were given diaries to record their internet usage. Junior Red Cross organised a community service camp at Vajreshwari an Adivasi area on 26th and 27th September under the caring guidance of Sir Rakesh Pathak and Sir Rostan D’silva. 32 students participated in it. The students visited an Adivasi village and donated soap, clothes, biscuits among other things. They visited the village hospital and interacted with doctors and patients. A three days trip to Manmad was organized by our school for the jubilee celebrations of our twin school – St Xavier’s High School, Manmad.
