Loyola Feast Celebration

The feast of St Ignatius of Loyola the founder of the Society of Jesus is celebrated on 31st July every year. And our school looks forward to celebrating this feast with great enthusiasm. This year the celebration began a week ago by conducting a Poster making competition for std 5 & 6 (St Ignatius of Loyola), std 7 & 8 (Ideals in Action), std 9 & 10 (Man for others).

On 29th July, a short programme was organized in the school hall, a skit was put up on the life of St Ignatius of Loyola followed by a PowerPoint presentation showcasing the work of the Jesuits done all over the world.  The Jesuit Priests and Brothers in our community were Felicitated by the students and staff.

On 30th July, the Eucharistic celebration for the feast was organized. The main celebrant was lordship Bishop John Rodrigues. The Batch of 1982 were also present in the Mass as they completed 40 years of schooling. After the Eucharist His Lordship Bishop John Rodrigues inaugurated the 160th School Banner. The programmed ended with a fellowship breakfast provided by the batch of 1982 to the entire Staff of St Stanislaus High School.
