Dear Parents,
As the Academic year 2009-2010 comes to a close, I would like to keep you abreast of the plans of the next year, which would help you gear yourselves to prepare your son make clear choices for a better involvement in the coming year.
Hockey: St. Stanislaus School gives first priority to hockey being the National game. We therefore begin hockey practice for all interested students from Std. II onwards from Monday, 3rd May to Thursday, 10th June 2010. Kindly avail of this training at 6:30 a.m on our School grounds.
Football: practice will also be conducted at the same time and date and in the same venue.
Students interested in Athletics will also be trained as per the above timing. Kindly note that we do not have any official cricket coach this year.Catholic students of Std. VI, will be given training as Altar Servers all through the academic year. Parents are requested to encourage and send their sons to serve at Mass for which they are appointed.
Jesuit Certificate Programme: All city Jesuit schools, will begin a 4 years Honours Programme commencing from Std. VII. The School magazine describes it in detail.
LiveWire: An intensive programme for all round development of the student called LiveWire programme will continue for the IX and X Stds. We proudly announce the same programme for Std. VII next year.
Std.X students will have their Test Series all through the academic year. The portion covered in the month of April will be evaluated in this test for Math I and Math II, in the month of June when school reopens. Kindly come prepared for this evaluation.
We continue our ‘no plastic’ drive in the next year too. Kindly carry a recyclable bag and a proper water bottle.
The Primary school will continue with the ‘bagless school’ concept in a more intense way next year.
We celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity. Kindly update yourselves on this topic. All students are encouraged to prepare posters and other display material which will find its place on the School Notice board.
The School stationery department will remain closed until further notice.
