KalaaFest 2018

On February 24th, 2018 St Stanislaus High School had the unique privilege of hosting KalaaFest 2018” an art and craft exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of our talents.

Special efforts were made by our students to complete the challenging tasks (art and craft) works which were awesome and appreciated by all the guests, Parents, Teachers and even the judges. Grandparents Day 2017-18

“Grandparents are people with silver in their hair and gold in their hearts”

17th February, Saturday – A beautiful morning spent with beautiful people- ‘The Grandparents’. The students of Std. Student Council Elections 2018-19

The elections of students’ council were held at St Stanislaus High School from January 1st to 14th.

The first round which was the elimination round consisted of students who had to give an introduction about themselves in front of a panel of teachers headed by the principal. Finally 4 students from the four houses, 3 students for sports captain and 4 students for school captain were chosen. Republic Day Celebration at St. Stanislaus

26TH January is one of the most important days in Indian history. It is celebrated as the Republic day of India because on this day the Constitution of India came into force and India became a totally Republic Unit.

On the 26th of January the boys of St.Stanislaus High School celebrated Republic Day with great patriotism and pride. The boys assembled on the school grounds at 7:30 a.m. to welcome the chief guest Mr. Pramod Kumbhar, Assistant Police inspector of Mumbai Police in the Anti – Narcotic Cell.

Inter Jesuit School PTA Meet

Parents of the SSHS PTA joined parents of other Jesuit schools in an inter school PTA meet at Campion School on Saturday, 3rd February. Various events were organized and our parents enthusiastically participated.  They won the championship trophy in the basketball competition.  The parents came away with wonderful ideas on how the PTA plays such an important and collaborative role in the school.

Chemistry-A Magical World

On 20th January, 2018, the 7th and 8th std. Science Club boys along with Tr. Deepali went to the R.D. National College of Science for their Annual Chemistry Festival – Fluorescence -18 at Linking Road, Bandra. The chief guest was Dr. Mhaske who is an Associate Professor at the Dept. of Polymers (ICT Matunga). Dr. Mhaske enlightened the students about polymers and their uses in industry. There were amazing, beautiful and magical experiments. Some of them were, The Snake Skin, Cloud Formation, Elephant Toothpaste, Smoke Cloud, Fake Blood, Boo Bubbles, and many more.

Republic Day Parade 2018

Twenty-three schools under the aegis of the BIRDS (Brihanmumbai Interschool Republic Day Committee) came together to celebrate Republic Day with a spectacular parade at Bandra Bandstand.  Schools from all over Mumbai marched to the beat of different school bands.  St.  Stanislaus High School, which has the only NCC squad in Bandra, was represented by the NCC cadets of the school.  Our band, trained by bandmaster Rohan Luhera , added music and rhythm to the marchpast.  The marchpast was followed by colourful floats and our Stanislites enthralled the audience with a...Learn More

RSP Rally

RSP students of St Joseph’s High School and St. Stanislaus High School assembled on the front ground at 09:30 A.M. The Mumbai Police who helped with the rally arrived and the flag hoisting was done by our Vice Principal Fr. Malcolm. After the RSP oath, the Band boys started moving for the rally followed by the squad.

At 11.00 A.M the students returned back from the rally to the school. The Road Safety Awareness message was conveyed to the people on Hill Road. The Snacks were given to the students and we started with our programme in the school hall.
