Teachers Environmental Leadership Workshop 2023

Kids for Tigers held a workshop on environmental leadership for teachers on August 18, 2023 at the CEC in Film City, Goregaon. Dr. Parvish Pandya spoke about the importance of a healthy ecosystem, climate change, and teachers' role in raising awareness. A year-long program was announced, including nature trails, quiz competitions, signature campaigns, audio-visual presentations, wildlife safaris, and a tiger festival. The Film and Media Club organized an event to raise awareness about respecting girls and women. Over 40 students attended and learned the importance of listening to their inner voice, being open to change, and being respectful. World Population Day

St Stanislaus High School's Scouts celebrated World Population Day on July 11, 2023. They participated in poster making, essay writing, and an assembly to raise awareness about population explosion. The scouts were enthusiastic about the event and learned a lot about the issue of population growth. They were also able to share their knowledge with others through their posters and essays. World Environment Day

The theme for World Environment Day on 5 June 2023 was "Beat Plastic Pollution." The world is being inundated by plastic, and the Scouts of St Stanislaus High School took part in the day's activities to raise awareness of the issue. They observed the three R's of waste management: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Van Mahotsav Day is a tree-planting festival that is observed in the first week of July to spread awareness about the importance of forests. On 3rd July 2023, the Scouts of St Stanislaus High School celebrated Van Mahotsav by participating in various activities, such as a drawing competition, a best-out-of-waste competition, and an essay competition. SCOUTS - INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Scouts of St Stanislaus High School conducted an ‘All Faith Prayer Service’ on 14 August in the school hall. This year, the theme for Independence Day is ‘Nation First, always first’. On Independence Day, the scouts took active part in the Flag Hoisting ceremony at St Stanislaus High School. The scouts of St Stanislaus High School also participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ and uploaded their picture on the given site. They were awarded with an E Certificate.
