This World's God's creation, a place full of wonder and beauty To care for and preserve it, is each one's duty, So we at St Stanislaus, this message did impart, Through song, dance, poetry, drama and art.
The message of Care for Creation which is the theme for the year at St. Stanislaus was beautifully elaborated upon at the Appreciation Day of the Primary Section in the school hall on the 8th of September. The program began with a prayer thanking God for the year gone by and invoking his blessings on one and all. The boys of Std 3 trained by ACE presented a poem titled What you can do which focussed on what we can and must do to look after our environment. A video that won a prize at an International competition on our motto ‘Born for Greater Things’ was also shown to the audience. The highlight of the program- a skit on Care for creation was then staged interspersed by beautifully choreographed dances and songs that laid emphasis on the message through a well presented and thought of slide show that accompanied it all. The boys also received their prizes for the academic year 2017-18 during the course of the program. Our Principal, Tr. Anna then congratulated the Primary Section for the beautiful program followed by the vote of thanks given by Tr. Jennifer. The singing of the school anthem wrapped up the program. A fitting end to a morning well spent.
A special mention must be made of Darryl Loyola who was instrumental in conceptualizing the program and making it a success.
