“It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air. The true meaning of Christmas is in living it everyday.”
The students of Std. 4 expressed this thought through a short Christmas Programme on the 21st of December, 2022.
The programme began by invoking God’s presence through a prayer service and a prayer dance.
The video on the Christmas story, caught the student’s attention as it very beautifully showed the nativity of Jesus.
Speaking of Christmas, brings to mind various symbols like the Christmas tree, the wreath, candy cane, the crib etc. So it is important to know their meanings and significance. This was explained through a ramp walk, where students dressed as various symbols, explained their significance.
But Christmas is not just these externals, the true meaning of Christmas was brought out very effectively through a skit called ‘Finding Jesus'. The message was further reinforced with Santa giving the students a Christmas message.
The programme would be incomplete without song and music and so to bring in the enjoyment, the boys joined the choir in singing Christmas carols and enjoyed watching the boys dance to a few carol’s on stage.
The programme ended with Tr. Jennifer addressing the students and wishing them a Merry Christmas.
