Christmas The most wonderful time of the year was celebrated in our school with a lot of cheer, joy and good-will. The festival had a deeper meaning as Stanislites shared their gifts with the students of St. Xavier’s High School, Manmad. Various competitions held at the class level enthused our students to decorate the Christmas tree, the holly wreath, the star and the crib.
At St Stanislaus School, on 21st December 2017, the programme in the auditorium began with a Christmas Play – “Christmas – a new beginning” with a strong message…
“It’s not Christmas, but Christ
Not merriment, but the Messiah
Not good-will, but God
Not presents, but His Presence
That can make every day, Christmas!!!! “
Later the excitement built up with the special appearance of Santa as he conducted an X-Mas Quiz. Students were gifted with a T-shirt and a packet of Cocoa Cotton Candy each. Christmas carols sung by our choir sounded like the angels singing from above. If we keep our hearts open and sensitive to the needs of others, we will be truly blessed in many measures.
That is the promise of Christmas.
