The Feast of St. Ignatius was celebrated on the 30 th of July 2024 in the Primary section this year.
The boys were shown a video on the life of St. Ignatius and after discussing his life, the children were given an activity that they were encouraged to complete neatly. The students of standards 1 and 2 coloured a picture/sketch of St. Ignatius while those of standards 3 and 4 did an activity on generosity after reciting the prayer for generosity. They very creatively explained how they would practise being generous at home and in school with the help of pictures or sketches. The best work in all the classes were awarded prizes.
On the Feast Day after attending the beautiful Eucharist celebrated by our Manager Fr. Luke Rodrigues, SJ, all the members of the Jesuit community were felicitated in the assembly shed. This was followed by delicious brunch and some spot prizes and games courtesy the batch of ’75 who ensured everyone, especially the Ex-teachers were well taken care of and had a great time.
