It was a golden period of time when St Stanislaus High School celebrated the ‘Hindi Week’ with great enthusiasm and excitement from 9th September till 14th September. On 14th September 2019, the whole school was awaiting for the ‘HINDI DIWAS’ celebration. After all the boys moved up to the school hall, the programme began with a spiritual start by the lighting of the lamp and a prayer. We had invited our school treasurer, Ms. Shaheen Fernandes as our chief guest for the programme. Next was a skit presented by our boys enlighting us the importance of Hindi language and why is it is necessary to respect Hindi. The main highlight of the programme was the Hindi Choral Recitation Competition. All the classes had prepared for this is competition and during the week, the elimination round had taken place. From each standard, 2 classes were selected for the final round. The final round was held on Hindi Day. All the classes performed very well but the best had to win. The competition was followed on by the prize distribution to the winners. Ms. Shaheen also addressed the students and spoke a few words. The vote of thanks was offered by our Vice - Principal Sr Arockia. It was a wonderful programme which would be remembered!!
