The Inter-House Quiz Competition at St. Stanislaus was held online on 7th August 2021 at 11.00 am. It was our first experience to organize and participate in an online quiz competition on our school app, ‘Microsoft Teams’. The quiz was also live-streamed on YouTube for the students and teachers. Sir Nityanand efficiently managed the smooth flow of the quiz and the live streaming.
We started with the Junior category (Std 5, 6, 7) followed by the Senior category (Std 8, 9, 10). Our talented teachers, Tr. Janice Fernandes and Tr. Margaret Pereira conducted the quiz rounds for our Stanislites, making it an exciting event.
The four teams Xavier, Loyola, Britto, and Kostka participated with great enthusiasm. Questions on various topics such as Science, Mathematics, Literature, Sports, and Jesuits were included in the first five rounds. The teams had 20 seconds to answer each question. The last round was the picture round where the participants had to guess the picture in 10 seconds. Tr. Deepali Naik did a fantastic job as the Time-keeper.
It was indeed a tough competition as all the teams did their best to score points for their house. Tr. Cindrella Koli as the score-keeper added the points and declared team ‘Xavier’ as the winners of the Inter-House Quiz Competition 2021-22. The viewers too enjoyed the quiz and enriched their knowledge.
