‘Knowledge is like a garden; if not cultivated, it cannot be harvested.’
We, at St. Stanislaus believe in cultivating knowledge, so that our students can enjoy the harvest and one such way to do this is building the students knowledge through the year. This knowledge gained through the year came forth through the inter-house quiz competition. The students of class 3 and 4 went through a round of elimination and the selected students competed together as a team on the 21st of January, 2023.
The students were taken through several rounds namely –
- Question and answer
- Rapid fire
- Spell test
- Audio visual and
- Burst your balloon.
Each round had questions based on topics like –
- Current affairs
- Sports
- Monuments
- Science
- Geography
- Art and Music
- Entertainment, etc.
There were four contestants in each house, 2 from class 3 and 4 respectively. The contestants played very well and surprised everyone with their knowledge. Announcing the scores after each round was very thrilling as the audience too cheered for their respective houses. The quiz ended in a tie for the 1st place between the Britto house and the Kostka house, followed by the Xavier house and the Loyola house.
The Kostka house finally won the competition by answering the tie breaker question. Our headmistress, Tr. Jennifer congratulated the participants and the teachers who organized the quiz. All the students were awarded certificates for their participation. The competition enabled us in motivating the students enjoy the experience of acquiring knowledge.
