The inter school, inter religious prayer service has been conducted by our School for the last eight years. This event was organized on Wednesday, 13th August 2014 prior to Independence Day.
The event was conducted on a slightly different note with participation from students of different faiths from seven schools around Bandra.
The participating Stanislites read passages from the Holy Books which reflected this years’ theme “All religions are Gems of Peace”. The different religions were Christianity, Baha’i, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Sikhism, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism. The schools that participated depicted the different religions through various skits, narration and powerpoint presentation, sending out a powerful message to the student audience.
The bhajan ‘Pyasa Hiran’ sung by all present set the tone for this prayerful morning while the concluding patriotic song ‘Hum Honge Kamiyaab’ evolved the feeling of Unity in Diversity.
