A two day workshop was organized by the Archdiocesan Board of Education on the 23rd & 24th June2016 for the Std.X and Std.VI Marathi Teachers in order to enlighten them about the new Paper and Evaluation Pattern for Marathi.
Teachers from 130 schools across Mumbai attended this workshop.
Dr. Sneha Joshi, from the Maharashtra State Text Book Planning Committee, was the resource person. She explained to the teachers of Std.X that though the text book was the same, the paper pattern had changed. Std.VI has a new text book, and she explained in detail how to follow the portion, as the exercises are more activity based and there is less rote learning.
The Teachers had a group activity to enable them to frame the question papers.
