Parents’ Day was celebrated on 27th July,2024 at St Stanislaus High School - Primary Section. The celebration begun with a prayer followed by the Sandwich Making Competition arranged for the parents of our students in the school laboratory at 9:30 a.m. The parents participated with immense enthusiasm and interest. They displayed different sandwiches very creatively.
The judges for the events were Mrs. MayroseD’Souza and Mrs. Wendy Chaves (ex-headmistress and ex-art teacher respectively of our school). The sandwiches made by the participants were judged ontaste, nutrition value and presentation. After judging all the sandwiches, the headmistress, Tr. Raynahalong with the judges addressed the parents and encouraged them to take part in future events too with the same spirit. The winners were announcedand the judges gave the prizes to the winners.
The celebration then continued in the school hall where the parents had a great time participating inkaraoke singing, with the students as their audience. The students too enjoyed themselves singing along.
Parents were also served snacks and were given a token of appreciation and love for their participation.The event ended with the vote of thanks delivered by our headmistress.
The children too took efforts to thank their parents, who have shaped up their lives in such a beautiful way by preparing cards for them in their respective classes.
This day gave us a lovely opportunity to thank and acknowledge parents for all the love they shower upon their children.
