Republic day is a day when we pay due respect to our great leaders, freedom fighters and all those who have played an important part framing the constitution of our country India. In the Primary Section, the program was celebrated on the 25th of Jan 2022 for the first time in a hybrid online celebration. Our students physically present in school, as well as those who were online at home were dressed in traditional clothes as they took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day.
The celebration began with a beautiful prayer service. The prayers and petitions invoking blessings for our country and its people were read by our teachers and students from different classes. This was followed by a video that beautifully explained the significance and importance of our Republic Day. The children then had to put on their thinking caps as they participated in an engaging interactive quiz, which was based on the video shown to them. The quiz questions and answers were displayed through a power point presentation. The Republic day celebrations concluded with a medley of patriotic songs which was played through a video.
Teachers and students warmly wished each other a very Happy Republic Day.
