St Stanislaus School celebrated its 150th Annual Prize Day on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the school auditorium. In keeping with the ‘International year of Crystallography’, the theme of the Annual Day was ‘Crystals Colour Our Life.’
A PowerPoint presentation depicting the timeline of events in school; the splitting of white light into seven colours and the significance of crystals associated with these colours was highlighted through seven exquisitely choreographed dances
Crystals are Mother Earth’s gift to us and they have myriad uses in our modern technology-driven world. The entire programme was aimed at creating a lively curiosity about the World of Science in our young Stanislites and fuelling a spirit of scientific enquiry.
The Chief Guests for the day were Mr and Mrs David Cardoza, parents of our ex-school captain, Master Dhruv Cardoza. The Guests of Honour were Mr. and Mrs. Sunil Joshi, parents of Master Saurav Joshi, our top ranker of the school at the SSC Board Exam, March 2014.
The Dances for the cultural programme were ably choreographed by the DanceWorx Team.
Certificates of General Proficiency were awarded to students.
The parents were enthralled by the performance of their children.
