Dr. Girish Oak a well known Marathi theatre and film personality, addressed the Marathi faculty teachers from 20 schools in Bandra at St. Stanislaus High School on 16th July 2014. He enthused the audience into teaching Marathi with vigor and style. Dr. Oak discussed how Marathi can be conveyed in the most attractive way to students. He laid stress on the proper pronunciation of Marathi words being taught to the students. His personal experience in Theatre and film brought in a new way of teaching the subject Marathi in classrooms which is a unique way of merging life skills. He left his audience spell bound. Teachers later discussed how these skills can be used in classroom teaching.
