Van Mahotsav, also known as the Forest Festival, is an annual celebration in India that promotes the importance of trees and forests in our lives. It is observed during the first week of July every year.
The Primary section celebrated the festival on 3rd July 2024. An assembly was conducted to raise awareness among the students about the festival, the importance of trees and what the children can do to save trees.
An art activity based on the festival was also organised in the classrooms. A boy from each class who did the activity well was given a plant sapling. Teachers in-charge Tr. Priya Divecha, Tr. Bindu Corriea, Tr. Trupti Gujar, and Tr. Risa Gonsalves
