12 schools from The Western Suburban Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrated “Thinking Day”, commemorating the birth anniversary of their founder, Lord Baden Powell.
The programme started off with the hoisting of the Scout’s flag. Various competitions, like marching, lezim, Creative Arts which included rangoli, drawing , handicrafts, and a folk dance competition wherein the dancers gracefully displayed the rich culture of our State.

The preparations for Marathi Diwas started from the 22nd February, 2016 with beautiful charts on poems, stories, cleanliness, etc., made and displayed by the boys in their classrooms and on the school notice boards. 58 students of Stds 8 and 9 were given a training in First Aid, Road Safety Rules, Yoga, and an examination was conducted for all the students .

Grandparents Day was Celebrated on 20th February,16 by the Students of Std I.
A small cultural programme was put up by the boys, this was followed by a get together where a game of housie was played and many spot prizes were given. 57 boys of the JCP (Jesuit Certificate Programme) visited Shanti Daan Ashram, Borivali (W), an organization for the disabled and differently abled children. This Institution is run by the Missionaries of Charity and inaugurated by Mother Theresa in 1981.
There are approximately 200 boys and30 caretakers. The head of the organization, Brother Oscar spoke of the plight of the children and the function of the Ashram. The children are taught to make candles and other handicrafts.
The feast of St. John de Britto, patron saint of the Britto House was celebrated on the 5th February 2016.
The Feast Mass was con-celebrated by Fr. Ambrose Machado and Fr. Errol Fernandes. Fr. Ambrose stressed on learning the local language and whole hearted commitment to the mission entrusted to us, that was to be good students.
