Christmas Celebration 2021 (Primary)

‘Let us prepare ourselves for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ'

Keeping this in mind, we the primary section at St. Stanislaus High School celebrated this day online with our dear students and parents. The teachers welcomed everyone and began the programme with a prayer service invoking God's blessings on all of us and to prepare ourselves for the coming of our Lord Jesus. This was followed by a video on ‘The story of Christmas’.A few of our boys representing all the classes danced to the Christmas song ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’. They all danced with so much enthusiasm and joy. This was followed by an open interaction with the boys about what comes to their mind when they hear the word ‘Christmas’, to which we got wonderful answers like – baby Jesus, Santa, holidays, snowman, sweets, joy, generosity, Christmas tree, prayers, family, carols, etc.We then saw a beautiful video from Santa Claus, where he shared with us a lovely message on the value of Christmas, of sharing and caring for all even in the present situation of the pandemic. The boys loved it and assured us that they would follow this message.

The programme ended by singing a few Carols.

This online celebration provided our boys and their families with a deeper understanding and connection with baby Jesus and a promise to always be kind, happy and considerate to others.
