Christmas Day Celebrations

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

At Stanislaus Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. But this year is different so we had the celebrations with a difference for the students (virtual). There were craft activities for Std 5 and 6 who had to make a snowman using an old sock. Std 7 and 8 crafted a mistletoe while Std 9 and 10 were asked how they would ‘Ring’ in the New Year in a unique style. Needless to say, we had an enthusiastic response from all students. The actual Christmas celebrations were held on 23rd December 2020 which commenced with Carol singing by the Primary Section who sang Away in the Manger and A Great Day In Bethlehem, the Secondary section sang Silent Night and Hark the Herald to conclude this part of the activity the IGCSE section sang God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Ding Dong Merrily On High.

This was followed by the visit of Santa Claus who added to the festive cheer and gave us a message to continue the good work we were doing. The Eucharistic celebration followed. It was concelebrated by Frs. Frazer, Felix, and Tony with Fr Juan as the main celebrant whose homily was simple and meaningful. The Manager of the school Fr. Frazer too gave a Christmas message. The Christmas Committee comprising of Trs. Margaret, Steffa, Casey, Libnah, Gloria, Roger, and Sabita thank the Primary committee for preparing the Liturgy for the mass and the festivities for that day. We also uploaded a short video of the craftwork, the Christmas message, and our boys singing Christmas carols wishing us all. The programme was held keeping in mind the norms laid down by the government.

When we the Stanislaus family joined in the cheer,

It was the most wonderful time of the year!
