Grandparent’s day was celebrated on 22nd February, 2025 in Our Lady's Room at St. Stanislaus High School -Primary Section. This day was celebrated to honor the love and contribution of the grandparents. The students of Std 1 reflected their love for their grandparents by performing for them.
Grandparents were welcomed by the guard of honour with love and beautiful smiles.The program began with a prayer service followed by a prayer song and a prayer dance. The students presented various performances, which included a Marathi song , a poem in English, and some dances. The performances were themed around the importance of grandparents in our lives and the values they instill in us. The grandparents were visibly moved by the heartfelt performances.
A housie was organized , in which the grandparents enthusiastically participated. Refreshments were served while they played a game of housie. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Headmistress - Tr. Raynah Lemos, who expressed gratitude to the grandparents, teachers, and students for making the event a success. Grandparents left the hall with a happy heart and a bag of goodies as a gift of appreciation.
