Independence Day Celebration 2026

The Primary Section celebrated Independence Day with a patriotic spirit. The day began with an assembly which commenced with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the Maharashtra Geet. A special prayer and hymn were offered for our country.

As part of the celebration, the students watched a video on the story of India’s Independence. The video depicted important events and personalities associated with India’s freedom struggle.

A general knowledge quiz on India was conducted to make learning enjoyable and interactive. The quiz included simple questions related to India’s national symbols, important personalities, states, culture and Independence Day. Thestudents participated eagerly and enhanced their knowledge about our country.

The students also participated in creative craft activities. Students of Standards 1 and 2 made beautiful tricolour decorations. Students of Standards 3 and 4 enthusiastically created tricolour caps. These hands-on activities allowed the children to express their creativity while reinforcing the significance of the national colours.

To add a cultural touch to the celebration, the students came to school dressed in traditional Indian clothes. They enjoyed the cultural performances conducted in the school hall. During therecess, they enjoyed traditional Indian snacks brought from home.

The Independence Day celebration was a joyful blend of patriotism, learning, creativity and cultural appreciation.
