St. Ignatius of Loyola Celebration (Primary)

The feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated by the Primary Section of St Stanislaus High School .

It was a week long event wherein videos on the life of Saint Ignatius along with the March of Saint Ignatius were shown to the boys . In keeping with the theme ‘Finding God in all Things' an activity was done in class encouraging the children to ‘Examen’ and  to reach out and to seek God in all things around them .

On the 29th of July the boys were asked to dress in yellow in keeping with the Loyola house colour. Each standard was given an activity based on Saint Ignatius of Loyola.  They also made bookmarks on wooden spoons .

Later that day a prayer service was held in the school hall .The Prayer of Generosity  and a video on the life of Saint Ignatius with the beautiful hymn Take and Receive was played .

The boys of standard three and four attended the feast mass on the 30th of July which was celebrated by Bishop John Rodrigues.
