On 15th August 2026, St. Stanislaus celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great pride and enthusiasm. This year was particularly significant as we commemorated the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram. The programme began with the singing of Vande Mataram, followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by our esteemed Chief Guest, Sergeant Hoshiyar Singh Negi. This was followed by the salute, the singing of the National Anthem and the Maharashtra Geet.
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign, our NCC cadets and Scouts participated in the ‘Tiranga Cycle Rally’, carrying the Tricolour with pride and spreading the message of unity and patriotism.
The celebration continued in the school hall with a series of vibrant and patriotic performances by our students. The programme included a skit based on the Revolt of 1857, dance performances depicting the sacrifices of our great soldiers, a human pyramid formation by our primary students, and patriotic speeches by SSC and IGCSE students, showcasing their deep love for the nation.
On this occasion, we also felicitated our SSC Toppers of the Batch 2025–26, whose dedication and commitment brought laurels to our school.
The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, followed by the Vote of Thanks proposed by Sr. Arockia. The celebration concluded with the singing of the School Anthem, followed by the SSC students reciting the Examination Pledge.
The celebration was indeed memorable, filling the entire school community with pride and inspiring a renewed commitment to our nation.
