Vanamahotsava Week

The Primary Section celebrated Vanamahotsava Week from 29thJune 2026 to 4th July 2026 with various activities to create awareness about the importance of plants in our lives.

The week began with a special morning assembly on the theme of Vanamahotsava, where students learned the meaning ofVanmahotsava and the significance of planting and protecting trees.

During the week informative videos were shown to the boys, explaining why plants are essential and how we would be affected if all plants were destroyed.

Students of classes 1 and 2 participated in a fun paper-crushing craft activity, where they used crumpled paper to create a tree. A worksheet activity on "Things Obtained from Plants" was conducted to help students strengthen their understanding on how plants are useful to us.

The boys of classes 3 and 4 were encouraged to grow a plant at home and bring it to school. They proudly presented their plants, demonstrating their care and responsibility. This activity encouraged students to grow and nurture plants.

Vanamahotsava Week was an enjoyable learning experience for all the students. Through these activities, they developed an appreciation for nature and understood the importance of planting and protecting trees for a greener and healthier future.
