Inter - School Carol Singing Competition (Primary)

The inter – school Carol Singing Competition for the Primary Section was held on 17th December 2015 . The participants from std I to IV put forth their enthralling performance. Eleven Schools took part in this competition held at St Elias High School.

The competition was judged by very talented musicians.The occasion was graced and hosted by the esteem presence of the Principal of St Elias High School. The 152nd Sports Day broke with tradition and was held in the morning at 8 a.m, on Saturday, 12th December 2015.

Stanislite Scouts received the Chief Guest Mr. & Mrs. Rony Quadras, parents of the Sports Captain and Guests of Honour Mr. & Mrs. Shodhana Shetty, parents of the Assistant Sports Captain and the Management members with a Guard of Honour.

Celebration of Xavier House Feast

The feast celebrations of St. Francis Xavier was held on Tuesday, 8th December 2015 after the pilgrimage to the Mount Mary’s Basilica.

This celebration began with a prayer service and the lighting of the lamp by Fr. Jou, Tr. Anna, Xavier House Captain-Master Nahum Lobo, Trs. Sabita and Yvette Coutinho.

Annual pilgrimage to Mount Mary’s Basilica

As tradition goes, Stanislites walked their way to Mount Mary’s Basilica on Tuesday, 8th December 2015 for a Eucharistic celebration.

This pilgrimage is held annually to commemorate the “Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary’ and to follow the vow the Bandraites had taken years ago, when Bandra was weighed down by plague. We also celebrated the Feast of our great Jesuit Saint, Saint Francis Xavier. In addition, we began the Year of Mercy as declared by our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

Farewell Tr. Anita Advani

Stanislaus Parivar held a fitting farewell for dear Tr. Anita on completion of her 20 and a half years tenure at the School.

The PTA, Staff and students stole her heart through their dance performance, cards, colourful bouquets and a PowerPoint presentation.

A farewell speech was delivered by Fr. Errol the School Manager and Principal Anna Correa.

The Inter House Quiz Competition – Brainvita 2015, was held on 28th November 2015 in the school hall. It was organised by the following teachers: Mrs. Priya Divecha, Mrs. Lorna Bhantu, Mrs. Christine Pereira and Mr. Arnold Lobo. While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about…The celebration of Children’s Day was held on 26th November 2015. The boys of Std I and Std II assembled at 8:30 followed by the boys of III and IV at 11:00am. So Long Farewell Tr. Freda DeSouza

With heavy hearts, the Staff of the Stanislaus Parivar bid Tr. Freda DeSouza adieu on Friday, 30th October 2015 on her completion of 17 and a half years.

A small felicitation program was held to express their appreciation and gratitude for her contribution and service to the School.

Primary Reading Day

The birth anniversary of our dear Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was celebrated on the 15th of October. As he was an avid reader, we at St. Stanislaus High School celebrated it as reading day. There were numerous activities held to encourage reading.

The children were asked to bring their favourite story books to read in class. The 1st and 2nd std. boys were also informed to come dressed as their favourite fairy tale character and a few boys read their stories out aloud in class. Primary Raffle Contest

The Raffle Contest for September 2015 was organized so as to encourage Student login and to familiarise Students/Parents with KoolKampus.

Any child or parent logging into KoolKampus in the month of September was eligible for the raffle. A random user was selected per division as the winner. If the randomly selected user was a Parent, the corresponding child would be the winner.
