Visit to the Bandra Court

On 16th February, the citizenship club boys went for an educational trip to the Bandra Court. The boys had the opportunity to visit the criminal court there. All knowledge and guidance about the different functions of the court was given to them by Advocate Mr. Shane Cardoz.

The boys first went to the court room and learned the role of every member in the court. The Judge, the typist, the lawyer, police inspector and accused all had a specific place to sit on. Inter-class Quiz Std 1 and 2

An Inter – class Quiz for the boys of Std 1 and 2 was held on 9th January 2019. The quiz began with the introduction of the contestants from each team.

The different rounds and their rules were displayed on the screen. The rounds were conducted in an interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting.

Brain Wave Quiz Competition 2018-19

An inter house quiz competition was held in school on the 15th of February 2019. Four boys (2 from the 3rd and 2 from the 4th) from each house: Britto, Loyola, Xavier and Kostka represented their respective houses in the final round. All the boys were given a chance through a quiz held in the classroom during the elimination round. All the students prepared well for the final round but the Kostka house boys emerged victorious. ‘Care for Creation’ has been an ongoing green initiative at St. Stanislaus High School, Bandra West. This year most of the school activities have revolved around caring for and nurturing the environment through various green initiatives taken up by the school. Cricket Maestro - Arjun Jaiswal

Arjun scored 102 Not Out in 48 balls playing for MIG in under 12 age group in the semi final of a 20 over tournament at Vile Parle and was involved in 234 run opening partnership.

Their team scored 234 for 0 in 20 overs with both openers remaining not out. They won the match by 110 runs. Both the boys got man of match award for their innings.

R.S.P. Rally

On 28th January 2019, the school R.S.P. squad had a rally spreading awareness on Road Safety. There were three schools who participated in this rally. The programme began with the hoisting of the R.S.P. flag by Sub police inspector Manoj Godase. The R.S.P. pledge was then taken by Master Durwin Britto. The rally, then began from the school ground to Mehboob Studio, (Bandstand). On 26th January 2019, St. Stanislaus High School celebrated its 70th Republic Day in a glorious manner. This day is important to every Indian as it was on this day that our constitution came into effect.
