“Appreciation is a wonderful thing It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well” Keeping these significant words of the famous French philosopher and writer, Voltaire, in mind, the Primary Section of St. Stanislaus High School held it’s Appreciation Day on the 16th of September 2023 in the school hall.
The programme began with a meaningful prayer service followed by a prayer song, the words of which were beautifully animated by our boys through actions. A lovely welcome song was sung by the boys in their sweet and melodious voices. Fr. Luke Rodrigues, the manager of our school, addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom and encouragement. Certificates to the prize winners of Standard 4 for the academic year 2022-23 were then handed out by their respective class teachers.
Against a beautiful backdrop of a forest, made by our craft teacher Master Joy Carvalho, the timeless classic - The Jungle Book, was staged. Under the able direction of our speech and drama teacher Master Conan Pereira, the boys beautifully enacted their characters, enthralling the audience with their acting skills.
The prize winners of Standard 1 were then given their certificates by their class teachers. This was followed by a drill display by PT teacher Master Sagar Parab The class teachers of Standards 2 and 3, distributed the certificates to the prize winners of their respective classes for the academic year 2022-23.
