The Appreciation Day of the Primary Section of St Stanislaus High School was held on 17th September,2022 wherein the students from standards 1 to 4 were awarded certificates and scholarships for the effort they put in, in the academic year 2021 – 2022. Nothing could stop the love and enthusiasm they have for studying, not even – COVID – 19.
- The programme began with a prayer followed by a graceful prayer dance.
- Fr.Frazer Mascarenhas addressed the gathering with words of wisdom which everyone listened to attentively.
- Thanking parents for raising them up to stand strong even in trouble times was put forth in dance through the song ‘You Raise Me Up’.
- Our young boys showed that Stanislites are born for greater things and are the champions through a melodious song.
- To culminate the programme was a meaningful play that was presented through music and dance and had a beautiful message for everyone to take home – ‘No matter how big or small. We all are special, we all have our place on this earth and we should go forth and shine wherever we are.’
- Sr. Arockia, Tr. Charmaine Pereira, Tr.Sabita Menezes, Fr. Juan and Bro. Conrad graced the occasion with their presence.
The teachers and students worked hard with the support of their headmistress Ms. Jennifer Pereira to put the act together and their determination was seen through the smiles, applause and appreciation of one and all.
‘Helping hands make light work’. Teachers – Mr.Sagar Parab, Mr.Conan Pereira, Mr.Joy Carvalho, Ms.Rashima Roche and
Ms. Hycinthia Gonsalves (parent) put in their contribution which added to the beauty of the musical.
It is rightly said ‘Being told you are appreciated is one of the simplest and most uplifting things you can hear.’
