“ Go forth and set the world on fire”
These words of St. Ignatius of Loyola was the main focus of our celebration at St. Stanislaus Primary Section.
The preparation for the feast began by showing the boys videos on the life of Saint Ignatius and The Five Finger Prayer- Examen was also conducted by the teachers. The March of Saint Ignatius was played every day after the short break for one week.
On the 30th of July the students came dressed in yellow attire. The students of standards 1 and 2 coloured a picture/sketch of St. Ignatius while those of standards 3 and 4 did an activity on the given cut out of a candle which they had to decorate and on the flame write two deeds of generosity they would try to abide by in the week ahead. A reflection on the hymn Go Light the World was also conducted .
