The English Elocution and Choral Recitation Competition was held at St. Stanislaus High School on 29th September, 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation, showcasing the linguistic talent and confidence of our students. Students of Stds 8, 9, and 10 delivered powerful speeches, poems with clarity, and expression. Aiden Pires was awarded the First Prize, followed by Joshyer Fernandes with the 2nd Prize and Branson Cardoz was awarded the Third Prize.
The Choral Recitation Competition was a vibrant display of teamwork. Students of Stds 5, 6, and 7 presented well-coordinated and rhythmic performances, using voice modulation, gestures, and harmony to bring poems alive. Stds 5 A, 6 B and 7 D were awarded the first prize in their respective class category.
The judges appreciated the participants for their articulation, expression, and overall presentation skills. Winners were awarded certificates and applauded for their outstanding performances, while all participants were commended for their sincere effort and enthusiasm.
The event successfully achieved its objective of encouraging students to express themselves confidently and appreciate the beauty of spoken English. It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
