Feast of St John De Britto

“The life of St John de Britto mirrors the life of Jesus Christ, for it was a life of service unto death.”

On 4th February 2026, St. Stanislaus High School celebrated the feast of St. John De Britto with great enthusiasm. The day began with the Holy Eucharist that was joyfully celebrated by Fr. Adolf as the main celebrant. During his inspiring sermon, Fr. Adolf highlighted the remarkable life and virtues of St. John de Britto and also explained the boys how one should lead their life.

Thereafter we continued our celebration in the school auditorium, starting with a meaningful prayer service. A skit was showcased by our students on the inspiring life of St John de Britto. The boys then watched a video on the journey and life of our dear saint. Based on this video, a fun and exciting Quiz was conducted standard-wise for all our students. The excitement of our boys was unmatched and filled the air with joy.

To prepare ourselves in celebrating this beautiful day, our school had also organized a bookmark competition for the boys of Std 5th to 9th, a week prior to this day. Our students beautifully showcased their art and creativity in making unique bookmarks based on the Britto House motto ‘For God and Country.’ The winners of the competition were felicitated with various prizes that will continue to encourage our young artist.

It was indeed a beautiful day that we will always cherish in our hearts.
