Feast Of St. Ignatius Of Loyola

‘Ad Majoreim Dei Gloriam’ The Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola is a day of great joy and celebration for the Jesuits all over the world. As a Jesuit school, we too, celebrate this feast every year with great pomp.

Our school, this year, took part in a Global Video Conference, held a bookmark competition, a special canteen, and of course, the feast. Inter Religious Prayer Service

‘The ultimate religion a man needs is HUMANITY’ An Inter-religious prayer service was organized on 14th August 2018 for the students. The purpose for organizing an inter-religious prayer service was to make children realise the importance of the greatest religion-HUMANITY. It started with the lighting of the lamp which indicates a light of hope in this dark and unreal world. Then some information was given on Humanity and prayer. Farewell, Tr Swati

We bid farewell to our dear teacher Swati Dabre who served our school for 22 years She is a hardworking and a dedicated teacher who is ever willing to help anyone who approaches her.

On 1st August 20, 2018, a special intercom assembly, was organised by the students and teachers for Tr Swati. Later in the afternoon the staff expressed their love and wishes through a small program followed by lunch hosted by Tr Swati.

The boys were encouraged to share ideas of how like St. Ignatius they would be ‘Men for others’ in collaboration with the theme of ‘Care For Creation and Ban On Plastic’,.

Childrens Hour – STD III

The 72nd Independence Day of our country was celebrated by the Primary Section on the 14th of August 2018 in the school hall. The programme began with a prayer service invoking God’s blessings on our country and its leaders followed by a prayer dance. Some boys displayed their fitness through different pyramid formations. The feeling of patriotism was further enkindled through a rendition of a medley of patriotic songs. St Stanislaus – Nature Club Shows the Way

The Scouts and Nature Club boys of St Stanislaus High School, Bandra as part of their theme for the year ”Care for Creation” took up the stupendous task of cleaning Carter Road, Bandra West.on 28th July 2018 along with the NGO Nature’s Guardians.   Carter Road faces the problem of the sea spewing out plastic and causing the area to get polluted. This is one of many initiatives taken up by the school to contribute to keeping our world clean and green.

Retreat- a time to regroup ourselves

St. Stanislaus High School has always aimed at nurturing and developing academically, physically, spiritually and emotionally strong young ‘Stanislites.’ Hence a special Retreat was planned for our std. X boys on 17th and 18th July from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm. Inter House Quiz Competition 2018

This year saw the revival of the very popular Inter House Quiz Competition. The competition was held on Saturday 21st July 2018 for the students of STD 8, 9 and 10. They answered questions on a range of topics like Current Affairs, English, History, Geography, Maths, Science and Sports. Our ex student Graham D’Souza was the quiz master. Our Film and Media Club boys of St Stanislaus High School were presented with one such opportunity to expand their minds and horizons on Saturday, 28th July 2018. This was in the form of a workshop conducted by alumni of our school – Errol, Milind and Nikhil. The workshop focussed on various career options in the vast world of media- namely film, advertising and event management.
