Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on 21st February, 2026 in Our Lady’s Room at St. Stanislaus High School – Primary Section. The occasion was organized to recognize and appreciate the love, care, and valuable contributions of grandparents. The students of Std 1 expressed their affection and gratitude through special performances dedicated to them.
The grandparents were warmly welcomed by the guard of honour with love and cheerful smiles. The celebration commenced with a prayer service, followed by a prayer dance. The students showcased a variety of performances, including a welcome song, an English poem, and lively dances. Each performance highlighted the important role grandparents play in our lives and the values they pass on to us. The heartfelt efforts of the students deeply touched the grandparents.
A fun housie game and spot prizes were also arranged, in which the grandparents actively and joyfully participated. Refreshments were served during the game, adding to the enjoyment of the event. The program concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by the Headmistress, Tr. RaynahLemos, who conveyed her appreciation to the grandparents, teachers, and students for making the celebration meaningful and successful. The grandparents departed with joyful hearts and received a small token of appreciation as a gesture of love.
