Handwriting is important for students because the physical act of forming letters by hand activates unique neural pathways that improves memory, boosts reading skills and frees up brain power for complex thinking.
To encourage our boys to inculcate a habit of writing neatly (and being presentable), a handwriting competition was held on Tuesday, 1st September, 2026. The students were given a few sentences in 1st Std and short paragraphs/passages for copywriting in Std 2, 3 and 4 and were reminded to write neatly for the same.
They were all excited and put in their best and couldn't wait for their teachers to select the best and announce the winners.
When the prize winners were finally declared, the teachers emphasized the importance of writing neatly at all times.
