The 75th Independence Day of our country India, was celebrated on the 14th of August, 2021 by the staff, students and parents of St Stanislaus High School – Primary Section.
The programme began with a prayer service, where the students and teachers placed various petitions praying for our country. The prayer service was followed by a PowerPoint presentation that explained to the boys the story of our freedom struggle.
A student from each class expressed their views about, what makes them proud to be an Indian or what they like about India. Each child, shared very beautiful and unique thoughts, that brought to light the uniqueness and diversity of our country.
The students then had fun as they participated in a quiz. No celebration is complete without music and so the Independence Day was made a complete celebration as the students enjoyed singing a medley of patriotic songs.
The programme ended with singing the National Anthem.
