“Freedom is not a gift, it is a responsibility – Jawaharlal Nehru
Independence Day was celebrated on 13th August at St. Stanislaus Primary Section with great enthusiasm and a spirit of patriotism.
The program began with a morning assembly where students of class 2B spoke about the importance of Independence Day and about our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The students came dressed in beautiful traditional clothes, representing the rich culture and diversity of our country. They also brought different snacks which they happily shared with their classmates.
To make the day more engaging an activity on drawing and craft was conducted in the classrooms. All the children actively participated and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
The celebration and the activities helped them understand the value of freedom while also experiencing the joy of togetherness. It was a memorable day filled with learning, laughter and celebration.
