The installation ceremony of the Interact Club was held on 4th August 2021 at St Stanislaus High School. Principal, Sr. Arockia, Members of the Rotary Club of Mumbai-Rtn. Brinda Desai, Youth Committee, Rtn. Kamal Dmello, Youth Committee, Rtn. Apurv Gangar, Director, President of the Interact Club Master Kaide Pereira, the Secretary of the Interact club Master Elijah Fernandes along with the Teacher in Charge of the Interact Club Tr. Nikita Chatterjee and Co-teacher Tr Neethu Nesan along with a parent were all present for the ceremony in school keeping in mind the Covid-19 protocols and the safety of each one.
The ceremony began at 9 a.m. with a welcome speech given by Tr. Nikita. It was then followed with the lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a short prayer service by Tr. Neethu. Kaide Pereira, the President and Elijah Fernandes, the Secretary of the Interact Club were then asked to share a few words about their responsibilities. It was then followed with an auspicious ceremony of the Pinning of Badges for the President, Secretary and the Teacher in charge. The Principal, Sr Arockia then spoke at length about the services rendered by the Rotary Club and thanked them for their contribution to the school. Rtn. Apurv Gangar, the Director, shed light on the programme to be conducted throughout the year and the benefits for the student's overall development through the Interact Club. The programme ended with a vote of thanks after which refreshments were served. The school looks forward to the future endeavours of the Interact Club and wishes them all the best.
